Precious Stone
Description: Sometimes, that which is most precious is recognizable to you alone. A pretty pebble from the brook gets stuffed into your pocket as a reminder of a quiet but profound moment which only the two of you shared.
This is an opportunity to preserve that memory in a unique way. We’ll set a slice of that pebble in a ring. It may be just a rock, but your partner will never again receive a stone as meaningful or precious. It’s hard to imagine a more personalized and romantic gesture.
You provide the small pebbles, which will determine the color of your inlays.
Which pebbles work best? Harder stones are better. Softer, crumbly stones, and stones with shiny bits, may not be suitable. If you have two pebbles and are unsure which is better suited, just send them both and we'll use the better choice. You may label them in order of preference, if you wish. Note: The stones will be broken during evaluation.
Shown in 8mm recycled titanium (6mm for the rectangular inlay design) with inlays and inner band of 100% post-consumer recycled silver.
The three inlay style features circular inlays of graduated diameter, set slightly offcenter from a silver inlay stripe.

This beautiful specimen contains green, blue-green, olive and tan splashes of color. Click here to see an image. You may purchase our petrified wood inlays alone, use only your pebbles, or alternate the two. These remnants of life from five million years ago remind us to live in the moment, for that is all we really ever have.
