How does the process unfold?
It starts when you click the "Start a Fundraiser" button. Once you fill out the web form, we’ll be notified of your application. We’ll issue a control number and send you the link to your individual fundraising page, which will include a form for donors to enclose with their jewelry. Timing for the disbursement of funds for the value of gold collected is flexible depending on the nature of your fundraising needs. Contact us to establish terms.
Is there a limit to the length of my fundraiser?
No! You may register for a one-time fundraising project, or you may have a rolling program with periodic disbursements. Just let us know your specific needs!
What administrative assistance does greenKarat offer for my fundraiser?
Your donors may choose to send their old jewelry to you for collection, or they may send their donation directly to greenKarat. We will maintain a list of donations sent directly to us and provide it at the time of check disbursement. Any receipts for donations will then be issued by the benefitting organization.
